A printed version of these Terms and Conditions and any notification sent in electronic form will be admissible in any judicial or administrative proceeding arising out of or relating to this agreement, under the same conditions and subject to the same limitations as those applicable to other documents and business records generated at the origin and maintained in printed form. The Youth Hostel Adveniat although unable to monitor the conduct of its users remotely, it is considered as a violation of these Terms and Conditions to use any information obtained from this Web site to harass, mislead or bring harm to others, as well as to contact a person, whoever he/she may be, to solicit that person for commercial or advertising purposes, without that person having specifically agreed to it in advance.

Your access to this web site constitutes your acceptance of the said conditions, which may be modified from time to time by the Youth Hostel Adveniat. If you do not accept these terms, please do not access the site, or any of the pages it contains.

Bookings

All bookings made on this site are confirmed, subject to any special conditions specifically made evident during the booking procedure and subject to the acceptance by the banking network for the payment of the deposit by credit card. At the end of the reservation process, a printable booking form will appear, including a reservation number. You must retain this reservation number and mention it in all correspondence with the Youth Hostel Adveniat.
It is not possible to change a reservation on this site. Any change must be made directly to the Youth Hostel Adveniat. Changes in reservations cannot be guaranteed and are left to the discretion of the Director of the Hostel and are subject to availability.

You can book using www.adveniat-paris.com for 6 persons maximum. (For groups of 7 persons or more, you must contact the Youth Hostel Adveniat directly). Attention: multiple bookings of less than 7 persons, carried out so as not be considered as a group, will be rejected by the hostel.

You can book a maximum 5 nights with www.adveniat-paris.com. Attention: multiple reservations with the purpose of creating a stay greater than or equal to 6 nights in several smaller stays of less than 5 nights, will be rejected by the hostel.

In the event of unavailability of beds for the requested dates, the site will offer you bed availability close to the dates that you initially requested. You should, therefore, before processing your order, check that you validate a reservation for the dates you want. The Youth Hostel Adveniat is not responsible for bookings made when the user did not check the dates. In case of difficulty, our standard deposit refund policy will apply.

You must be a member of a National Youth Hostel Association recognised by the IYHF to stay in the Youth Hostel Adveniat. For further information, please visit the following page www.auberges-de-jeunesse.com/fr/adhesion.

Payment

The regulations required from you by this site are that you pay a deposit of 25% of the total of the amount of the cost of your stay. These deposits are debited from your bank account not at the time when you confirm your purchase on the site www.adveniat-paris.org but only after one of our operators have contacted our bank. If your payment has been refused by the Bank (credit card rejection), your reservation will not be confirmed and we will let you know through the e-mail address you have given us to contact you.
You will need to pay the balance in euros when you arrive at the Youth Hostel Adveniat. Credit cards accepted for payments on this site and in the hostel are Visa and MasterCard. If you used a card that is not in your name, you must provide an authorization from the holder of the card.

We only accept payment in euros. This website takes no other fees on your transaction and no exchange fees. However, your bank or your credit card company may charge you a fee.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Reservations made on this site may be cancelled on the site. To cancel a reservation, you must contact the Youth Hostel Adveniat directly. In the case of a cancellation of a reservation, we may reimburse you for all or part of the deposit already paid subject to the following rules:

  • 100% of the deposit will be reimbursed up to 3 months before the arrival date;

  • Between 3 months and 1 month before the arrival date, 50% of the deposit will be reimbursed;

  • Under 1 month before the date of arrival, no refund will be made.

Our responsibility cannot be held, where a reservation could not be used because of events normally considered to be impossible, even by being vigilant, to foresee or avoid such events. These circumstances may include but are not limited to, war, threat of war, civil riots, hostilities, strikes or other industrial actions, natural disaster, fire, terrorist actions, technical problems in transport, closure of airports or ports, cancellations of car-ferries, quarantine, epidemics, weather conditions, government interventions or any other circumstances beyond our control..

Claims

The Youth Hostel Adveniat seeks to offer the service of highest quality to its guests, and it therefore takes seriously any claims received. If you have cause for complaint during your stay, which cannot be resolved directly by the management of the hostel, or, if you have a complaint about one or other aspect of our booking process or our services, write to us or send us an e-mail to the coordinates on this site, and we will strive to resolve the problem quickly and confidentially.
